Rainbow Connection Counseling Collective (RCCC) is a growing group practice and is seeking mental health professionals to join the team. RCCC specializes in serving communities of gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity (GSRD), including LGBTQ, kink, fetish, polyamory, other non-monogamy, and sex workers as well as BIPOC communities. Above all, we are looking for therapists with a desire to serve – in a non-judgmental, open, decolonized, and affirming way – minority communities and clients who have sexual health concerns.

Our ideal candidate has specialized knowledge, training, and passion for working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Our ideal candidate also demonstrates an eagerness to learn and implement business and marketing strategies in order to be successful in private practice settings.

You must be willing to apply to be licensed with both CA and WA within 90 days of hiring if not already dually licensed.

Employees will work toward building a caseload of 15-25 weekly sessions (15 per week is the minimum requirement).

Qualifications

Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, or Psychologist) via California Board of Behavioral Sciences and Washington Department of Health; or Registered Associate Mental Health Professional (AMFT & APCC) via California Board of Behavioral Sciences (given CA requirements, we do not have the ability to offer the required 1700 supervised hours by a LCSW for ASWs) and (ACSW, LMHCA, or LMFTA) Washington Department of Health with a minimum of 1,000 completed hours toward licensure. (Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis, so please do not hesitate to send in your resume)

Specialized knowledge, training, and passion for working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities

Specialized knowledge, training, and passion for working with kink/BDSM and polyamory/ethical non-monogamy

Experience and additional training in Couple’s Therapy, LGBTQ+ and multicultural counseling are highly recommended in order to work with relationship therapy clients.

Advanced training in Sex Therapy principles and interventions highly recommended.

AASECT or sex therapy training highly recommended

Compensation

Clinicians are W-2 employees.

Licensed Clinician (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC)

Hourly rate equivalent to 40-60% fee split depending on part time/full time status, qualifications and experience

Potential to earn $60,000-$115,000 annually


Associate position (APCC, AMFT, LMHCA, LMFTA)

Hourly rate equivalent to 33%-45% fee split dependent on part time/full time status, qualifications and experience

Potential to earn $50,000-$78,000 annually

Clinician’s profiles are included on our website and on various online directories. Some cross referrals are expected but not guaranteed. Professional networking is required to help build your referral network.

Note: All clinicians begin as part time with the expectation that they will reach full-time status defined as 18+ client hours a week. It is expected you will reach this target with in 6 months of hire.

Clients are private pay and out-of-network. Billing is handled primarily by the Dakota Assist

Responsibilities

Meet with adult individuals and relationships for outpatient psychotherapy in accordance with your training and areas of expertise.

Complete intake notes and progress notes, billing, and scheduling after each session.

Ensure proper charting is completed on the day service is rendered.

Attend weekly team meetings, and up to 2 in-person networking or 5 hours minimum of online marketing weekly (FB marketing and networking included).

Be self-driven to market oneself and be proactive in finding clients

Achieve full-time 18+ client hours per week within 6 months of employment
